“Got two [Tesla Powerwalls] and best decision ever!”
“Got two [Tesla Powerwalls] and best decision ever! Especially since the wall provides the resources in the evening and partially throughout the day. Also, Tesla has a new storm watch as part of the app. When storm is coming, app system goes into weather watch mode, which is very good. We are already receiving $300 more per quarter for the Powerwall from the SREC of Massachusetts. Before, we averaged about $500 a quarter. Now we are getting nearly $900 a quarter. This is certainly worth it for all. PowerWall is an awesome backup resource in that you never notice power out. It is flipped within milliseconds unlike a traditional backup gas generator which waits and checks the system before turning on. There is no fuel to purchase for a PowerWall either, unlike a traditional generator which requires either gasoline, propane, or natural gas, which also costs extra money and doesn’t help with “Keeping It Green”. Maintenance free PowerWall, unlike a traditional generator. If you buy a system like a Generac for the home, you will want to purchase a maintenance plan to have it serviced every couple years. That costs money also. Weigh out the pros and cons of a PowerWall vs Generator. Free lifetime vs costly fees over the course of a manufacture warranty. Green vs non green. What am I leaving out? Let’s say you buy two PowerWalls. RevoluSun sells at cost and as long as the Federal Government keeps covering the 30% discount, you save a system installed. Say the cost is around $16,000 for two PowerWalls installed. After the tax rebate of 30% or $4800, your cost for an efficient, reliable, maintenance free battery backup system with a 10-year+ warranty is $11,200. AND if Massachusetts continues the SREC program, over the course of 10 years, you can earn roughly $2000 per year. Over the course of 10 years with SREC cash back from the State, that’s a gain of approx $20,000. Subtract the $11,200 from $20k and that leaves $8,800 in your pocket with a solar array on the roof, a clean source of energy. You can’t beat the PowerWall and a Solar Array on the roof. The benefits are profound. I speak from experience as a homeowner."
