Interested in learning about clean energy over a nice cool drink? We partnered with Panasonic Solar and 92.5 The River to make two events possible this summer – our Community Appreciation Event at RiverWalk Brewing Co. and the 18th annual Riverfest Seaside Music Festival in Gloucester, MA. RevoluSun has a thriving North Shore community, and has been recognized as Best Solar Company on the North Shore by North Shore Home Magazine.
RevoluSun’s Vice President of Business & Project Development, Brian Sadler, grew up in West Newbury and has since established himself as the North Shore’s go-to solar professional. Brian has built lasting connections with his customers and a valuable array of relationships in the solar community. For the first time, we’re tapping into the North Shore pocket to further spread the good news about solar.
Teaming up with solar advocates, 92.5 The River and RiverWalk Brewing
After being invited to sponsor the Riverfest Seaside Music Festival by 92.5 The River, we extended the invitation back to 92.5 to join our Community Appreciation Event at Riverwalk Brewing. Like RiverWalk Brewing and 92.5 The River, we value our local community, solar advocacy, and (of course) beer.
Did you know that RiverWalk Brewing and 92.5 The River run on solar energy? In addition to their wind farm, RiverWalk Brewing Co. installed multiple solar trackers and rooftop panels that generate 630 MWh of electricity per year.
In 2007, 92.5 The River began using solar energy to power a portion of the station’s electricity consumption, making it one of the only solar-powered radio stations in the world. They have installed a full rooftop solar array and are currently the only solar-powered radio station on the East Coast.
About the events
Have you ever seen a solar panel up close and personal? At each event, you’ll get hands-on experience with top-tier clean energy products, like Tesla Powerwall, the Sense home energy monitor, and our aesthetically pleasing solar panels. Maybe you already know about our products, but have too many questions to start your solar journey. No matter the question, our team will be there to support you. And if you’re already part of our community, come say hi!
Everything will be provided to you at no cost. Our events give us a chance to get to know you on a personal level.
Below are further details about our two upcoming events:
Thursday, August 1
5pm – 9pm
New to solar?
Did you know that Massachusetts has some of the best solar incentive programs in the country? However, incentives through the Solar Massachusetts Renewable Target (SMART) Program are fading away as the program is quickly filling up.
In addition to a $1,000 personal tax credit from Massachusetts, the federal solar tax credit (ITC) gives customers extra savings. This is the last year to claim the full 30% tax credit, which means that the sooner you install solar, the more incentives you will receive. We urge everyone to maximize incentives now before it’s too late.
Unsure of what that really means? Get to the event early for a Solar and Storage 101 seminar with Brian and the rest of our team to learn more. How often do you get to talk about solar with someone who already has it? Stay afterwards to chat with our RevoluSun community to hear their success with solar.
Already a part of our community?
Tell your neighbors what it’s like not to pay a monthly electric bill alongside the many benefits solar has given you. We want to get to know our customers more to chat about your solar and storage experiences. Stop by for a drink on us and get information on battery storage, or just check out Powerwall and Sense we’ll have out on display.
Food, drinks, and local entertainment
92.5 The River’s River Roadies and RiverWalk Brewing Co. are providing catered food and a wide range of local craft beer to be enjoyed beside entertainment and games. 92.5 The River is DJing the event and raffling off tickets for a Wilco concert and to the North Shore Music Theatre for a show of your choosing.
At the venue, we’re dishing out plenty of giveaways. Spin the wheel to win prizes. Socialize with fellow solar advocates. Play cornhole, participate in raffles, and grab a complimentary Summer Swag Bag filled with RevoluSun merchandise.
WXRV’s ‘River Roadies’ set up a tent with 92.5 The River merchandise, giveaways, and corn hole at an event.
Newburyport is small coastal, scenic city rich with history. RiverWalk Brewing Co. is located outside downtown Newburyport where local connections are essential. Invite your friends, family, and neighbors from across Essex County to learn more about the solar industry. The event will run on Thursday, August 1, 2019, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM EDT.
- 5:00PM – 6:00 PM: Solar and Storage 101

Saturday, August 24
12pm – 6pm
Presented by 92.5 The River, the Riverfest Seaside Music festival has relocated from Newburyport to Stage Fort Park in Gloucester for the first time ever. Our tent, located at Sponsor Area 1 is right beside the Bud Light Beer Garden, Tito’s Handmade Vodka pop-up lounge, and the KidZone.
Relax at the Rev Lounge
Stop by our Rev Lounge for shaded seating, solar-powered charging station, Rev merchandise, and more. This is a fun and laid back environment where you can enjoy the concert and cool down. Our team is friendly, passionate, and waiting to show you our solar panels, Powerwall, and the Sense Home Energy Monitor. We’ll be there all day to answer questions, clear concerns, and demonstrate our premium solar products.
Food, drinks, and local entertainment
Other amenities include food trucks, vendors, a beautiful new location, and live-music from Tall Heights, Mt. Joy, Noah Kahan, and Guster. The Stage Fort Park is a historic site in Gloucester, where the area’s first settlers set up stages in 1623 upon their arrival. It is home to Half Moon and Cressy’s beaches, a sand volleyball court, a new playground, a baseball field, a basketball court, and tennis courts.
Stage Fort Park, encompassed with sandy beaches and verdant recreational areas, was first settled in the 1623 by fishermen. Overlooking Gloucester Harbor, the park is the perfect venue for a summer concert. The Riverfest Seaside Music Festival is a free, family-friendly show open to the public, rain or shine. The event will run on Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
So join us for an event, or both! We appreciate the solar community we’ve built, and can’t wait to celebrate with you. Leave us a review, refer a friend, or just come to chat over a drink with our team. We’re here for you through it all.
