We partnered with Panasonic Solar and 92.5 The River to make two events possible this summer – our Community Appreciation Event at RiverWalk Brewing Co. and the 18th annual Riverfest Seaside Music Festival in Gloucester, MA. RevoluSun has a thriving North Shore community, and has been recognized as Best Solar Company on the North Shore by North Shore Home Magazine.
RevoluSun’s Vice President of Business & Project Development, Brian Sadler, grew up in West Newbury and has since established himself as the North Shore’s go-to solar professional. Brian has built lasting connections with his customers and a valuable array of relationships in the solar community. For the first time, we tapped into the North Shore pocket to further spread the good news about solar.
Teaming up with solar advocates, 92.5 The River and RiverWalk Brewing
After being invited to sponsor the Riverfest Seaside Music Festival by 92.5 The River, we extended the invitation back to 92.5 to join our Community Appreciation Event at Riverwalk Brewing. Like RiverWalk Brewing and 92.5 The River, we value our local community, solar advocacy, and (of course) beer.
Did you know that RiverWalk Brewing and 92.5 The River run on solar energy? In addition to their wind farm, RiverWalk Brewing Co. installed multiple solar trackers and rooftop panels that generate 630 MWh of electricity per year.
In 2007, 92.5 The River began using solar energy to power a portion of the station’s electricity consumption, making it one of the only solar-powered radio stations in the world. They have installed a full rooftop solar array and are currently the only solar-powered radio station on the East Coast.
About the events
Have you ever seen a solar panel up close and personal? At each event, our guests got hands-on experience with clean energy products like Tesla Powerwall, the Sense home energy monitor, and our top solar panels.
Food, drinks, and local entertainment
92.5 The River’s River Roadies and RiverWalk Brewing Co. provided food and a wide range of local craft beer to be enjoyed beside entertainment and games. 92.5 The River raffled off tickets for a Wilco concert and to the North Shore Music Theatre.
WXRV’s ‘River Roadies’ set up a tent with 92.5 The River merchandise, giveaways, and corn hole at an event.
- 5:00PM – 6:00 PM: Solar and Storage 101
- 6:00PM – 9:00PM: Socializing, craft beers, food, and giveaways
Presented by 92.5 The River, the Riverfest Seaside Music festival relocated from Newburyport to Stage Fort Park in Gloucester for the first time ever. Our tent, located at Sponsor Area 1, was right beside the Bud Light Beer Garden, Tito’s Vodka pop-up lounge, and the KidZone.
Relax at the Rev Lounge
At our Rev Lounge, our shaded seating and a solar charging station was complimentary for attendees. Our team also had fun playing with jumping solar-powered crickets, and providing water and sunscreen for guests.
Other amenities included food trucks, vendors, a beautiful new location, and live-music from Tall Heights, Mt. Joy, Noah Kahan, and Guster. The Stage Fort Park is a historic site in Gloucester, where the area’s first settlers set up stages in 1623 upon their arrival. It is home to Half Moon and Cressy’s beaches, a sand volleyball court, a new playground, a baseball field, a basketball court, and tennis courts.
